For Mentawai, according to Sikerei, <em>&#8220;Our stories teach us about our history and how to survive here. They carry the wealth of Mentawai through the generations. This is our fortune.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"feature_image_wide\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sukumentawai.org\/wp-content\/themes\/synch\/skins\/sukumentawai\/images\/Pumumuan_Sikerei.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>Over the years we&#8217;ve documented a variety of these cultural tales and edifying conversations &#8211; some of which you will see in the <a title=\"Filem As Worlds Divide\" href=\"http:\/\/www.asworldsdivide.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">documentary film<\/a>.
